Mystik Seydina aka Augustin Mbengue born in Tivaouane Mystik Seydina is a
native of Mont Rolland,
a town about thirty kilometers from
Mboro.
He started doing music from an early age
to the Catholic Church because Mboro first belonging to the Christian faith and
became Muslim. Mystik started out with rap, and it wasn't until 1996 that he experienced performing with rappers and the group called Black
Master Xibaar. In the same year, he shared the stage
with other rappers, and performed with Ndongo Fall Mbax Ka.
He launched a solo career, and his mother, one of Mystik's first fans do not miss the opportunity when his schedule allows,
to go attend its benefits.
But the recall to God of his father left him a void, which prompted him
to dedicate a
title in his first album.
In 2000, after breaking with his brothers, Mystik joined forces with Ndiouga Minete. It must
be said that this merger brought them success
and five years later the new group Cultural Vibrations
recorded his first album "Humanity
Suffers," produced by the label "Gaindé Culture," in August 30, 2005. In 2013, Mystik
released his second album
entitled, "Y WHAT A HOPE"
recorded in France Gainde Culture in co-production
with Sistalau Production.
Mystik Seydina has music with a message. His voice inspires one to
greatness, and we are honored to share his gifts with you on the Sonya Kates
